I work five minutes away from the Huntington library and gardens in San Marino.  We're so close that information regularly routes calls for the Huntington to the public library.  A year earlier I had visited the Huntington and saw a preview of the new Chinese gardens.  It was bare, no plants at all, just some of the features like a bridge and a walkway.  What a difference a year makes.  The garden and the buildings are a wonderful addition to the Huntington, as I hope the pictures illustrate.
