The Getty Villa in Malibu had been closed for a decade when I heard that it was reopening in 2006.  It was a no-brainer to make reservations as soon as possible and visit.  I was able to get a couple of tickets.  My aunts and I arrived early on a rainy day.  The early arrival afforded me the chance to take a lot of pictures without people running around.  Suffice to say, I took a LOT of pictures.
