It's difficult enough to drive in Los Angeles without having to deal with drivers who make up their own road rules, who don't check signage, and who generally don't care. This idiot falls under all those categories, but mostly the last one. On Sepulveda and Burbank, where this was taken, there is a right turn lane that's quite busy. Mainly because everyone wants to jump onto the freeway. This fella suddenly realized that he wanted to go onto Burbank. It's bad enough if he was in the second lane from the right, because that's the lane I was in and it's not a right turn lane. But this moron was actually to the left of me, two lanes from the right. That didn't stop him from cutting in front of me and the person who rightfully had the next right turn. Oh, and he was blocking the intersection. Plain dumb.

Drivers are always trying to get the "upper hand" on the road. Whether it's cheating a little on a stop sign or moving a little forward into a crosswalk. We've all done it, but this driver takes it to another level. This isn't simply moving a little into the crosswalk, this driver totally ignored that it was there. What's worse is that this street does not allow turns on red. So there's no point moving into and past the crosswalk.

The same can be said about this driver, who is in a left turn only lane. One that's controlled by a light. Once again moving ahead does not give the driver much advantage. The only advantage here is getting to see pedestrians up close and personal, because the car is sitting right in the crosswalk. People walking by had to choose between going in front of the car, and moving close to traffic, or squeezing in behind this car. Thanks dummy.

While going to get a bite to eat at a local fast food joint I spotted this driver parked across 2 spaces waiting IN the car for who knows what. Why the person in the car couldn't just pull into one of the spaces instead of taking two spaces, and rendering a third space inaccessible, I don't know. All I know is that I really wish I had a working horn on my car sometimes.

I don't know when it happened, but drivers here in Los Angeles have gotten really really bad in the last couple of years especially. As bad as drivers were in the past I wouldn't actually run into too many bad drivers. It was like a mythical thing. But these days I am constantly witness to stupid drivers doing stupid things behind the wheel. People are more impatient, more reckless, and are willing to do stupid things with more frequency. This woman couldn't wait to turn on to the California incline and had to block the left turn lane of the traffic traveling North on PCH. She was behind me and turned into the lane, then stopped where you see her. Probably out of some sort of embarrassment, because there really isn't another reason I can think of. Either way, she didn't gain anything by her move, the traffic moved shortly afterwards and she had to wait for the car in front of me to merge into the left turn lane she so eagerly jumped ahead to gain a spot in. Dumb.
