Issue #55 - March 2006
  Short, but Sweet

It has been a hectic couple of weeks and this update might suffer a bit because of that fact.  I started a new job on the February 24th, and I haven't had that much time for anything but school, homework, work and sleep.

I did update Vista Drive, because I usually have a few pictures in reserve for just such occations.  So check out the new pictures in Vista Drive.  Enjoy the update.

Editorial : From Windmills

I saw the sticker above on someone's car, basically the way you see it.  "W: The President."  But I don't see it as black and white as the sticker does, hence my take on it.

Etcetera : Scanner Photography

Rarely does one find true originality in this world.  When something is truly original then it's evident from the first moment you see it.  As he says on his site, Michael Golembewski started his scanner photography when he built his own digital camera using a flatbed scanner.  From that was born scanner photography, which is unique because of the nature of scanners.  As Michael states on his site:

The objects in the scene that were stationary photographed normally, while the objects that were moving were twisted and distorted into wonderful shapes.  At first, I thought that this was a mistake, that something was wrong with my new contraption.

But enough of me writing about it.  Go look for yourself and enjoy something truly original, Scanner Photography.
