Issue #49 - September 2005
  New Beginnings

September marks the end of Summer and the month of my birthday.  No, don't all of you give me gifts at once.  You can form a line, no pushing.  Yeah sure!  Now seriously, there are a good number of updates this month.

Firstly Vista Drive gets its usual round of updates, with new pictures added to the Color, Black and White, and Motel sections.

American Podcaster also has a new episode, and coming September 22nd American Bliss Magazine will be updated.

The Winter Dreams art gallery in 17 has had a makeover, and now includes more of my favorite artworks.

Afterthoughts : Graduation cry

During my high school graduation I couldn't stop crying.  To me it was not only the moment when I was done with high school, but the last time I would ever see all my friends in one place.  Most of them I would never see again, and I knew that.  The overwhelming feelings came to a head and I burst into tears.  I couldn't stop crying during the time after graduation when everyone says good-bye.  My eyes were completely bloodshot, and the tears were rolling down my face.  It wasn't pleasant to have to say good-bye to everyone.  There were so many people that I would have loved to keep in touch with.  I even knew that I would miss those I didn't know at all.  It was basically a general feeling of closure that made me burst into tears.  We, the family, went out to dinner that night, but I so didn't feel like eating.  I missed everyone.  I knew I would see most of my friends again soon, but there were some people that I knew I wouldn't see for a long time.

I worried that it would be the last time I would see Kat.  I knew where she lived, but that wouldn't be the same as seeing her every day.  Nothing could replace seeing her every day.  A lot of my tears were shed thinking about that very fact.  I did see her again, but it was never like when we were in school.  The years went by and I eventually lost track of her, as well as many of my friends.

Editorial : It's Vacation Time!

Bush takes the longest vacation by a sitting president.  He calls it a "working vacation," but how much work do you get on your vacation?  Enough said.

Etcetera : Vista Drive postcards for sale

Some of my favorite pictures from Vista Drive are now available in postcard form.  Each postcard is handmade, and includes an image from my collection of photographs.  I've specially tweaked the pictures to look extra good. Each is printed on high quality Kodak paper, which showcases the vibrant colors of each photograph.  To the right is an example of the front and back of each postcard.

Currently there are seven types of postcards, with future thoughts for adding more of my favorite photographs.  Maybe you have a favorite picture from Vista Drive's Color section that you wish to have a postcard.  Send me an email, I'll see what
I can do to accommodate.
