Issue #50 - October 2005
  Catch me now I'm Falling

It's fall now, though you wouldn't know it from the temperatures at the start of this October here in Los Angeles.  But, life goes on and so do the updates.  Here's the list of this month's first of the month update.

Vista Drive gets the usual updates to the every section, with the addition of about a dozen pictures.

I added a new poem (one that I worked on in my poety class) to the composition page in American Bliss.  Speaking of American Bliss, that page has more updates to it, including a new American Bliss Magazine (which was updated Sept. 22).  Enjoy the update.

Afterthoughts : First month at CSUN

It's only been a little more than a month, but in that time I have come to think of CSUN as a second home.  Sometimes I feel more comfortable there than at home, which is a completely new experience for me.  I'm in my element there, having been a "professional" student for this long now.  I know the way things are done, and I'm comfortable with the pressures of assignment deadlines.  It's just super fun to be around a group of people who aren't stuff shirts.  There is a time in all of our lives when we are ultra-liberal, in every which way.  We've yet to be jaded by the hard lessons life throws at us.  Right now I'm surrounded by people who aren't jaded.  They might be later, but right now they aren't, and I love that.  That feeling to me is what I've always been about.

Yeah, you can say that I've been somewhat jaded by the reality of life.  But, as a friend of mine pointed out recently, I'm not that jaded yet.  I hope I never become so jaded that I turn into some silly narrow-minded conservative.  Maybe I'll turn into the other extreme, a tie-dyed hippie.  Yeah, wild man!

Etcetera : Cool Sites

I'm one who can appreciate a cool website.  Especially one that is both cool but also absolutely great looking.  It's not enough to just have information, I think.  A homepage has to be a reflection of a person's personality.  I found three websites that are great reflections of their publishers.  All three feature great photography sections, which is near to my heart.  Words are not enough, you have to just go and visit these unique websites for yourself.  Enjoy.
