Issue #103 - March 2010
  Still No Change

February is the shortest month, but for me it was long on work and short on money.  This has not been the best month to deal with, let's just say that.  Work and school have taken their toll upon me, and I'm starting to wonder if any of it is worth it.  Alas, I have no choice.

As far as site business.  This page has been updated, as well as a few pages in IMAGE_171.  That part of the site continues to grow slowly, but steadily.  I now update Observer twice a week, adding pictures from two different iPhone photo apps: ToyCamera and ShakeItPhoto.  Don't forget to check those out, as well as the other updates.

Afterthoughts : This Past Month

Years ago, before my buddy Joe passed away, we would often go to the Bob's Big Boy in Toluca Lake.  Joe was a crazy guy, and he had this habit of telling the wait staff at Bob's that it was my birthday.  Of course it really wasn't, but they didn't know that.  I think we went there like four times before he passed away and got them to sing happy birthday as well as give me free hot fudge cake.  It was always so embarrassing to sit there as the wait staff sang off tune.  But, it was also funny.  I mentioned this story to a few of my co-workers on the occasion of us trying out the newly open Bob's in Pasadena.  Well, one of them got me.  They couldn't resist telling the wait staff that it was my birthday.  And sure enough, true to form, they came out and sang me a off tune version of happy birthday.  I couldn't help but remember my buddy Joe, who has been gone for two years now.  Miss you Joe, thanks for the memories and the hot fudge cake.

Editorial : A Month Away

I'm tired.  I'm going away for the month of March.  Not anywhere like on a vacation or something -- but rather I'm just going to keep to myself for a month.  If someone calls me, or sends me an email, I'll respond.  But in March I'm not going to make an effort with people.  I've tried to convey the state of things, but my words have fallen on deaf ears.  So I'm going to keep to myself for the next month.  Starting Monday March 1st I'm making an effort not to post anything on Facebook, contact friends, or generally speak to people.  If you want me you know where to find me.  I'm tired of stretching out and having my hand slapped away.  I'm just tired of all the bullshit.  See you in April... maybe.  I might like my new found solitude and not come back.

Etcetera : iPhone Project 52

My iPhone project continues, with more pictures taken with my iPhone and filtered though a photo app named ToyCamera.  These pictures aren't intended to tell a story, just to be a showcase for this particular app and my photography using that app.  Enjoy the February pictures.
